A living legend since 1888, Hotel del Coronado is world-renowned with its soaring red turrets and iconic Victorian architecture. The story continues to come alive when you step inside to the historically restored lobby in all its grand glory. 

This artwork was inspired by the custom, hand-painted opulent wallpaper in out Victorian lobby. It’s a contemporary interpretation of 18^th century Chinoiserie design that draws you into another world and time. The motif features a lush botanical garden with banana palms, exotic flowers and a menagerie of lovebirds, parrots, butterflies and monkeys that were once part of the hotel’s garden courtyard.
